Site Engineer

Location: Tyrone & Fermanagh

Who you'll be working for:
A leading Northern Irish civil Main Contractor, working on large scale projects across Ireland and the UK including roads, bridges and wind farms, currently have an opportunity for an experienced site engineer with a strong civil back round to work on projects across the North of Ireland.

The initial projects will be based in Co Fermanagh and Co Tyrone on Wind Farms. 

What you’ll need to have
The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management, 4 years + experience as a site engineer, having worked previously on heavy civil works. You will hold a valid, CSCS card, driving licence and have a proven track record of setting out on large civil engineering projects.

What you’ll be doing:
We require a site engineer who can use 3D surveying software, has experience setting out and experience in QA/QC of earthworks.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Setting out on Civil Engineering Projects as well as providing information to assist the project team with the construction of the works.
  • Co-ordinate, Plan & Organise the Works in their section whilst liaising with Site Foreman & Site Agent daily.
  • Managing & developing junior members of the site engineering team.
  • Assisting the Site Agent, Project Manager & Contracts Manager with site records/documentations of, HSE documentation, permits to work.
  • Recording information required for the Health & Safety File.
  • Attending weekly progress meetings undertaking all actions assigned.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment Policies.
