Midland Construction is a high quality general building contractor based in Kells, Co. Meath, which has been trading since 1979. Over the last 38 years we have established a strong nationwide reputation in the commercial, industrial, retail, educational, leisure, healthcare and residential construction sectors.

We are looking for a Public Procurement Administrator (Technical Writer/PreQuallification Administrator).
This will involve the preparation of company specific technical submission documentation / presentation material and you will work closely with the estimating and business development functions.
You will also be able to analyse pre-qualification bid requirements and shape submission proposals to maximise scoring and bid success.
 
You will actively work to enhance the quality of our bid documentation and be responsible for preparing well written high quality pre-qualification submissions and for coordinating all necessary supporting bid documentation.

The desired candidate must have experience in the construction industry
 
  • Administration to assist Quantity Surveyors, including Administer eTenders, Tenders and CIF documentation.
  • Preparation of company specific technical submission documentation / presentation material and you will work closely with the estimating and business development functions.
    You will also be able to analyse pre-qualification bid requirements and shape submission proposals to maximise scoring and bid success.
  • All aspects of Health & Safety
  • Risk assessments, method statements, emergency action plans and Construction Phase Health & Safety Plans.
  • Preparing paperwork and procedures for Safe T Cert Audit, ISO Audit AND Considerate Constructors audit.
  • Maintaining the company’s Plant Cert Database.
    Experience Requirements:
    •             Business or Administration Qualification
    •             3 + Years’ Experience
    •             Team Player but can work on own initiative
    •             Excellent organisation and communication skills
    •             Proficient in MS Office
    •             Experience with DropBox
