Based in our South Brisbane Office, our client have an opportunity for a Project Controls Manager to join their team and work across various projects. Your primary remit in this role will be to implement project controls within the client's projects and to resolve any issues in order to ensure that projects are delivered on time, to budget and in accordance with client objectives.

Job Description:
Candidate will be required to deliver key project deliverables by establishing baseline schedules, control budgets, managing scope change with clients and contractors, and monitoring planned against actual for schedule and costs. Candidate will also produce accurate monthly project status reports by consistently adopting the client's approach to project reporting and holding project members to account for report standards. Candidate responsibilities will also include the coordination and validation of periodic project status reports by supplying cost reports, cash flow forecast, commitment and revenue curves, KPI's and variance reports. Your contribution to the ongoing development of the Project Management Framework to deliver best practice solutions by applying knowledge of industry developments and experience of past trends will ensure you are a valued addition to the team.
Requirements:
Candidate is required to have strong leadership qualities to ensure you effectively manage, mentor and support Planners and Cost Engineers within the project controls team by assisting with the resolution of issues, balancing workload and priorities and understanding individual developmental needs. You will possess relevant tertiary qualifications, in engineering, business or finance, along with relevant experience in an Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) environment. Candidate is required to have extensive exposure to project controls and relevant report preparation in both the engineering office and site environments.
