The Junior Project Manager is responsible for the co-ordination and leadership of a project team to deliver project[s] on time, within budget and to quality standards, under the direction of the Project manager. The company in question specialises in commercial and retail fit-out projects. This role would suit a junior candidate with 1+ years experience. This role is permanent and the candidate will be working on projects.

Responsibilities: 
  • Provide the effective leadership and management of project[s], including the development of team[s] and individuals
  • Coordinate with Health and Safety and ensure H&S is being implemented correctly on site
  • Implementation and maintenance of relevant approved processes, procedures, health and safety and technical standards and ensure their consistency
  • Liaise with the relevant sub-contractors, monitor performance in terms of time, quality and health and safety
  • Undertake all necessary actions and support to facilitate achievement of delivery team targets in terms of time [programme] and quality
  • Ensure all project activities/project team are fully compliant with the Company Safety Management System and relevant statutory regulations
  • Review safety inspections for sites and liaise with management to ensure that any recurring problems are rectified by the Crew Leaders
  • Attend project/programme/client meetings, as required, to ensure effective communication across the project and within the organisation
  • Self-starter who can operate effectively in a dynamic and fast paced organization
  • Able to build and maintain good relationships with key project stakeholders
  • Ability to supervise and able to work on multiple of concurrent small-scale projects
  • Microsoft Office proficient, Microsoft Project proficient.
  • Office Based Dublin 15, Travel to and from site (Nationwide)
Qualifications & Experience: 
  • Construction or Civil Engineering Certificate / Diploma with 1 years’ experience
  • Experience and/or Education in Civil Engineering/Construction Management or similar
  • Experience in a field-based construction role is an advantage but not essential
  • Good understanding of project methodology & management
  • Excellent oral and written communications
  • Strong organisational ability
  • Strong team player
  • Diving License
