Senior Project Manager - Western Europe

Position Summary:
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the project delivery of a large data center project as part of a campus team. The successful candidate will report to the client’s campus construction manager.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Manage the contractor on all safety matters for the job site 
  • Comply with all safety requirements for the job site 
  • Act as the single point of contact for client stakeholders on the project
  • Coordinate stakeholders to define and align scope, schedule and budget for the project
  • Report on scope, schedule and budget as required
  • Coordinate progression through all project phases
  • Supervise the resolution to non-technical issues for site and facilities
  • Manage change process from end to end and issue instructions as the employer’s representative
  • Undertake all duties as the employer’s representative under the construction contract
  • Create/maintain an ethos of best practice delivery and continuous improvement for assigned construction projects
  • Regularly review cost, KPIs, invoices and process/policy and manage or communicate as necessary 
  • Assign and manage duties for the assistant to the employer’s representative
  • Take over and issue taking-over certificate for the works
  • Turn over the facility from construction to operations

Desired Experience and Education: 
  • 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role 
  • Experience working on large data center scopes (preferred) 
  • Experience working with integrated project delivery teams on design bid build delivery
  • Excellent IT skills 
  • Excellent communications skills 
  • Client facing ability
