Assistant Quality and Tender Manager

Who you’ll be working for:
A well known and sucessful civil engineering main contractor, with over 30 years’ experience in the successful delivery of infrastructural projects in the Republic of Ireland, specialising in the innovative execution of complex Irish Civil Engineering projects, including:
  • Road Schemes
  • Major Earthworks & Drainage Projects
  • Flood Defence & Marine works
  • Bridgeworks (including in-situ concrete, precast beams, steel girders and trusses and a range of specialist methods)
  • Piling (including Bearing Piles, Sheet Piling and Cofferdams)
  • Railway Lines & Stations
  • Motorway Maintenance & Traffic Management
Currently operating an integrated Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Management System, certified to ISO 9001:2008, OSHAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004.
Due to recently newly awared projects and growth within their company, they now have a permanent requirement for an experienced Assistant Quality & Tender Manager at their Head Office in Co. Meath.
What you’ll need to have:
The successful candidate will be Degree Qualified or have relevant experience of ISO 9000, with the ability to assist in the implementation of the quality management system and updating of current procedures.
Ideally you will have excellent organisational and strong inter-personnel skills, work well under pressure and have the ability to meet deadlines, along with excellent computer skills.
and an understanding or experience in the construction industry a distinct advantage.
What you’ll be doing:
A need has arisen for a Tender administration and Quality Document Control co-ordinator in the Tender & Quality Department.
  • Organise all Tender Prequalification Submissions
  • Assist in establishing, controlling, maintaining and ensuring continuous Improvement of all tender department documentation.
  • Assist in the control, maintenance & continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
  • Reporting to the Quality Manager
  • Completion and submission of Prequalification’s to meet deadlines
  • Update all Company CVs in set format
  • Collate all Past Project Information Sheets 
  • Set up and maintain Library of photos from completed projects 
  • Develop Templates for Tenders
  • Assist with Quality & Technical submission for Tenders
  • Work on all Tender Frameworks agreements for Public Sector Clients
  • Organise a Database for Prequalification Essays & Information
  • Update and maintain Training Register 
  • Update and maintain Training Files
  • Record and Assist with developing a system for Continuous Professional Development Records
  • Assist in the Development of Skills Profiles for staff
  • Assist in Training of all new staff in both the Site and \ Head office Quality plan
  • Assist in the Control & updating of all Quality Control Documentation
  • Other Duties as may become necessary
