Our Client is one of Europe’s leading construction groups. With over 50,000 employees and turnover in excess of €10billion they are a genuine global market leader. They are currently building the 8.8km long Rohtang Pass Highway Tunnel which is approx 3,000m above sea level and when built will be the longest road tunnel in India. Special challenges in building the tunnel include the elevation, the extreme climate and the geologic conditions. They are using the New Austrian Tunnelling Method (NATM). The have an urgent need for a Contracts Manager/Administrator to lead the Contracts Team on the above project. The successful candidate will: - Administer the Contract (FIDIC Red Book 1999) including correspondence - Guide the Project Managers in contractual matters - Supervise the Claim preparation - Negotiate the Claims with the Engineers and/or the Client The ideal candidate will be Degree qualified (MRICS desirable) with extensive experience of working on large-scale Civil Engineering projects Worldwide.
