Position Summary:
The Assistant Accountant will work alongside our accountant in charge of the main Irish business which consists of a number of offices operating in several different countries. The role will report into the accountant in charge under the supervision of the Financial Controller. This is an exciting role and will provide excellent opportunities for career development. The successful candidate can expect the role to be diverse and should be someone who will thrive in a busy environment. 

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the monthly management accounts, earnings and projections and variance analysis/KPIs
  • Prepare the audit files and financial statements
  • Prepare the monthly Work in Progress reports
  • Prepare accruals and prepayments
  • Liaise and work with accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll (prepared centrally)
  • Prepare intercompany reconciliations
  • Prepare various confidential ad-hoc reports and analyses.

Desired Experience and Education:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Partly-qualified accountant
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience within an international environment (advantageous)
  • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent communication skills  
  • The ideal candidate will be results driven, self-motivated and resourceful
