Building Staff Solutions (BSS) are currently recruiting a Tendering Administrator for our client an who are an award winning civil and structural consultancy with operations in the UK, Ireland and the Middle East. They currently employ 150 people and are always looking to add high calibre talent to their team.

They cover a wide range of Civil Engineering consultancy services within a variety of sectors, including Water and Wastewater, Geotechnical, Environmental, Marine, Infrastructure, Transportation, Building, Utilities, Flood and Risk Management for clients in both commercial and public sectors throughout all our locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender administration: to coordinate tender input throughout the company in order to win engineering design consultancy services project work

  • Provide technical and non-technical input into pre-qualification submissions which demonstrates the company’s expertise, capability and experience

  • Provide input into tender submissions to support our Group Tender Coordinator on technical and non-technical aspects of projects being tendered

  • Co-ordinate inputs from others, both within and outside the company, to pre-qualification and tender submissions

  • Maintain systems and libraries associated with the production of bid documentation.

Candidate Essentials:

  • Minimum 2.1 degree or masters in Civil / Structural Engineering or a qualification in Quantity Surveying

  • Experience in a Civil Engineering consultancy or experience in Quantity Surveying / Construction related activities is desirable but not essential

  • Knowledge of MS Project and InDesign beneficial

  • Experience in providing input to tenders/proposals desirable but not essential
