Azon are working with a small to medium sized main building contractor whom have worked on both public and private projects. Our client who are a quality focused business with smart leadership and a well-defined growth strategy are seeking to hire a Business Development Manager to help grow the project portfolio.
The company are hiring for this role in line with an ambitious and sustainable growth strategy to take their plans to the next level from an already busier pipeline for 2018.
This is a permanent role and an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with some business development or sales experience to really carve out a role for themselves and make it their own while working with and growing alongside senior people within the business.
The key deliverable for this role will be to get more tenders in the door for attractive projects.
This will include building relationships with project stakeholders and being able to sell the company’s benefits, to be invited to tender and further develop relationships to get on tender lists with automatic tender requests coming in the door of the company.
The ideal candidate for this role will have construction experience and knowledge foremost coupled with some business development or sales experience (from construction industry or otherwise).
Experience dealing with architects and consulting engineers would be favourable.
Salary: negotiable depending on level of experience.
