Ballymore promises 200 new construction jobs on Bray development
Published 30 Apr 2007

Ballymore Properties has been granted planning permission for a new Bray town centre development after a protracted journey through the planning process.
The company says work on the Florentine Centre will begin 'almost immediately' and will last up to two years, creating 200 jobs during construction and 400 when the centre is open.
The centre will contain a shopping centre, 84 homes, a crèche and a car park.
The development was appealed to the Bord Pleanála in May 2006, after which Ballymore made a number of changes to its plans. Permission was previously granted for the development, but building never started, as Ballymore supremo Seán Mulryan decided to seek changes to his plan.
