The Assistant Technical Services Manager (ATSM) shall be responsible for the management of all elements of the mechanical and electrical maintenance (M&E) across multiple commercial properties in the Dublin Area. This includes water systems, waste systems, heating systems, cooling systems, air condition, ventilation, gas systems and building management systems.
The position involves the line management of mechanical and electrical technicians on the contract. This shall include but shall not be limited to the management of the technicians’ time, workload, performance, punctuality, personal development and training.
This is a client facing role. The position includes a requirement to deliver internal minor works projects as well as act as the client representative on external large-scale projects (Commercial).
Main Duties Shall include (but not be limited to);
The management of the on-site team of mechanical and electrical technicians (10+)
The delivery of all planned maintenance of M&E equipment in line with the contract requirements through the Maximo Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
The management of third-party maintenance contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
The management of minor works projects and reactive maintenance as required through the on-site team of technicians
Delivery of the client QHSE Strategy
The monitoring and management of the Client’s on-line ticketing system
Devise preventative measures to avoid equipment breakdown and maintain business continuity
The establishment and management of the annual maintenance budget
The research and development of costed proposals to improve the performance and effectiveness of the M&E systems
The management of third-party risk assessments and methods statements and the awarding of permits through the online permitting system
Management of M&E Team Meetings
While the position will be based on a 40-hour week during normal working hours, it may require some elements of the work to be performed outside of normal working hours where required.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services Engineering
Minimum 5 Year’s experience in Project Management or Facilities Management
Experience in the management of on-site personnel
Fully competent in the use of computers with the ability to create and use spreadsheets, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive etc.
Professional imagine and demeanor
Familiarity with Maximo computer-based facilities management package an advantage
