Our client provides mechanical and electrical consultancy services to the residential, commercial, retail, sports, leisure, micro-electronic, healthcare, educational, municipal, high tech and pharmaceutical sectors.

The company seeking an experienced individual in the role of BIM Coordinator to join their Cork team. This is a 3 months contract.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review 3D Models from consultants and subcontractors
  • Audit and review models in Autodesk Revit
  • Export DWF/IFC and other formats for collaboration internally and externally
  • Hold weekly coordination meetings with project team members
  • Identify and document clashes between different models using Navisworks Manage
  • Administer the agreed Common Data Environment (CDE)
  • Manage / Update BIM Project Documents
  • Implement and maintain the BIM Execution Plan
  • Develop Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDP) and Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDP), establish information structure and standards, agree output formats and validate compliance
  • Follow BIM standards and development procedures
  • Work under direction of design professional and BIM Manager


  • 2+ years industry experience actively working on projects
  • Degree in Construction/ Engineering/ Architectural Technology
  • Proficient in Revit Architecture, Revit MEP, Revit Structure, Navisworks Manage
  • Previous experience working for a main contractor is desirable
  • General understanding of interoperability between software used to accomplish discipline tasks
  • Good understanding of BIM compliance documentation e.g. PAS 1192, with knowledge of BEP, EIR, COBie
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of team and on own initiative
  • Certification in Autodesk Revit (Desirable)
