Alpine Recruitment is seeking a Civil Commercial Manager for an established T1 Contractor in Swords, Dublin, Ireland.

Job Description:
Oversees contract management, budgeting, and financial operations within the civil engineering project. Ensure strict compliance with contract terms, control project expenditures, and mitigate financial risks. Maintain clear and effective communication with project stakeholders to facilitate successful project completion.
Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Oversee contracts, negotiation, and compliance.
  • Budget Control: Develop budgets, monitor expenses, and enforce cost controls.
  • Financial Analysis: Produce Tier 1 standard financial forecasts, analyse cost data, and deliver comprehensive reports to stakeholders.
  • Procurement Leadership: Manage supplier selection and contract negotiation.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and minimise financial and contractual risks.
  • Change Management: Assess and adapt project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Dispute Resolution: Collaborate on contract-related conflicts and claims.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure legal and industry standard adherence.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain project records for transparency and audits.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Keep stakeholders informed with regular updates and reports.
Requirements:
  • BA. degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (MA. degree or certifications are a plus).
  • 2+ Years’ experience in commercial management within civil engineering or construction.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering contracts, procurement processes, and contract negotiation.
  • Proficiency in utilising industry-standard software and IT tools.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, including forecasting, cost analysis, and data interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills for effective stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution.
