About the Company:
Join a leading Irish main contractor who specialise in both construction & civil engineering over the past 60 years. This company has an excellent reputation with being responsible for the development of highly regarded projects in the residential, commercial and the educational sectors. Working with this company will allow you to be exposed to high profile developments as well as working alongside some of the most experienced and skilled workers in their field.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure work is carried out to a high standard
- Ensure setting out is completed accurately and that best practices are adhered to
- Communicate what's required to Foremen in a way that everyone knows what is expected of them and understands it
- Read & interpret drawings for layouts, materials measure etc
- Manage subcontractors/general workforce on site
- Maintain site records
- Attend meetings where required
What you will need:
- Degree in engineering
- 3 years+ experience with a main contractor
- Civils experience required
- Good understanding of health and safety
- Proactive with excellent communication skills
