McManamon Developments Ltd, a well-established Building and Civil Engineering contractor with offices in Galway and Tullamore, is currently seeking a Site Civil Engineer to join our growing team. Our clients include private, government departments and local authorities.

Due to continued expansion, this role will primarily be based on a large residential development in Athenry, Co. Galway, where the successful candidate will be involved in the delivery of civil infrastructure works. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive company offering strong long-term career progression, with the potential to advance into managing projects valued at up to €1 million.

Salary - €50k–€55k, Benifits: Performance related bonus & company vehicle

The Role

• Recording site levels and preparing volume reports
• Preparing material quantities and measuring completed works
• Producing as-built surveys
• Carrying out setting out, levelling, and site surveying
• Attending daily pre-works briefings
• Maintaining daily site diaries
• Liaising with the Site Manager on Health & Safety matters
• Assisting with day-to-day site operations
• Using surveying equipment and associated software effectively

The Ideal Candidate

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
• 3+ years’ construction experience in Ireland or the UK
• Experience on civil engineering and groundworks projects
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Commitment to quality and safety standards
