Investment Analyst Property & Construction
Our Client; an International Investment Financial Group is expending its business in Ireland and is seeking to recruit an Investment Analyst Property & Construction, to join its investment team and support the group’s rapidly expanding investment and funding services from its Dublin city offices.
Our Client is a specialist in funding small and medium construction / property developments in the commercial and residential sectors. Their primary focus is on provision of finance to property developers and investors in these sectors across Ireland. 
The Role:
The successful candidate will:
Investigate and evaluate investment and funding opportunities for the investment team.
Support the Lead Analyst.
Provide analytical and qualitative support to the Head of Investment.
To be considered for the role you Must:
Have a background in the commercial side of property development.
Have a keen commercial awareness and acute business acumen.
Be strong on analysing figures and costing.
Have a full understanding of Finance, P&L’s, Balance sheets, etc.
Have a sound technical knowledge of all the Disciplines in the construction sector.
Be competent at assessing the condition of a property, running costs, what refurbishments are needed, costing and estimating returns on investments, etc.
Have an ability to evaluate Developers Loan Applications and draw-downs.
Have strong communications, negotiation and influencing skills.
Have more than 5 years relevant experience.
Be proficient in the English language (spoken, written, technical). 
Ideally you Will:
Be an Architect, Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Building Surveyor or Chartered Surveyor or hold similar professional qualification.
Hold a post graduate qualification in Accounting / Finance (or similar) -in addition to a primary technical qualification.
Be proficient in the English language (spoken, written, technical). 
Have well-rounded knowledge of the property market at a commercial level
Have strong sales and negotiation skills and background.
Have great presentation and communication skills.
Be analytic, detailed and organised, especially when it comes to report writing and research.
Have existing relationships with developers, house builders, housing associations and industry professionals.
Have a successful track record of commercial activities and concluding business dealings.
Be capable of multi-tasking, co-ordinating and delivering multi-projects. 
Immediate opportunities exist at Junior, Intermediate and Senior levels. 
Permanent status roles with a Global Financial Organisation.
Remuneration: Comprises basic salary and bonus.
Ideal candidates can expect OTE  c €90,000.
