Our client, a small building contractor, is currently recruiting for someone to join the team and assist the owner pricing jobs, method statements, safety statements, drawings, traffic management plan and measuring progress on site.
It is a permanent position based in Cork. You will be provided with a van and phone. 
The salary will range from €30-35k for a graduate and up to €45k for someone very  experienced in the work mentioned above.

Your duties will include:

• Prepare cost analysis based on the architectural drawings, engineering estimates, materials required and labour involved
• Measure progress on sites
• Work as part of a team to ensure that the requirements of the client are delivered.
• Liaise and report to the Quantity Surveyor and Director
• Develop and maintain relationships with site workers
• Develop traffic management plans
• Compile method statements, safety statements and drawings into a project file 

Criteria:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or any relevant subject
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Good financial and numeracy management skills
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills
• A clear understanding of building regulations and guidelines
• Candidate must be self motivated with a strong work ethic and drive to succeed
• Any experience pricing jobs will, completing method statements,
