In this role, you will be a key part of transformative residential and regeneration projects and gain experience in the Planning, Public Procurement & Project Viability. Through your involvement in the full development life cycle of large-scale projects from acquisition through to delivery and operation, you will be able to advance your career.

You will join a state body that will act as a Developer, not unlike existing private residential developers, to accelerate the delivery of new homes throughout Ireland. As Construction Manager you will have an important position here and will make an impact in the Irish construction sector and the national housing supply.

Your role will involve:

  • Taking the lead on projects at various stages from early concept stage through procurement, design and construction to completion and handover
  • Managing design teams from a technical, program and budgetary perspective
  • Leading interaction with project stakeholders such as local authorities, private developers and landowners 
  • Ensuring contractor and consultancy contractual compliance
  • Managing project budgets and programs

You will need:

  • At least 15 years' experience in the various stages of the property development sector
  • A degree level qualification in the construction/ development sector
  • Excellent relationship management skills (both internal and external)
  • Strong development management skills, with a proven relevant track record
  • Knowledge of the Irish planning, development and construction sector

Knowledge of public procurement and project viability would be advantageous.
