Construction Site Manager - Dublin region

Overview

Do you want to be a key part of transformative residential and regeneration projects where you will gain experience in the full development life cycle of large-scale projects from acquisition through to delivery and operation? In this role, you will join an organisation that will operate as a Developer to accelerate the delivery of new homes throughout Ireland. You will have a key position here and will make an impact in the construction sector on a national scale.

Responsibilities


  • Assist in day-to-day management related to the procurement, construction, and operational stages of a project.
  • Develop the project brief including project scope definition, programme development, and budget development.
  • Appoint design teams and other support functions.
  • Support the Project Team during the preparation of planning permissions, statutory applications, and the site acquisition process.
  • Administer and manage all project documents.
  • Provide support to the management of the contract during the operational phase.

Qualifications


  • A third level technical qualification in construction or development related area.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a relevant area.
  • A willingness to take on new responsibilities and the ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team within a well-defined project organisation structure.
  • A keen commercial awareness.
  • A full clean driving license as some site travel will be required.
  • An understanding of technical principles such as the planning system, construction buildability, technical solutions value engineering would be an advantage.

Day-to-day


  • Managing project documents and contracts.
  • Assisting in the acquisition, planning, and procurement stages of projects.
  • Collaborating with design teams and support functions.
  • Supporting the Project Team in statutory applications and site acquisition processes.
