OUR CLIENT:

Our client is a very well established large main contractor with numerous diverse projects. They are heavily involved in the construction of Data Centers and require a Finishing Manager to oversee the internal aspects of both the Data Center and the Admin/Office section of the project.

No previous experience on Data Centers is required for the right candidate with the right attitude.

THE ROLE:

Finishing/Internal Manager

DUTIES:

Set up Site, supervise, coordinate and monitor sub-contractors performance

Supervise foremen and other direct staff

Ensure that all project safety requirements are met and adhered to.

To be the main point of contact for relevant subcontractors/ site management.

To ensure all Requests for Information and Technical submittals issued by the Sub-contracting team are followed up on and answered in a timely manner to ensure progress is not impacted.

Maintain accurate records of extra works and variations and ensuring appropriate communication of same

Check and understand all drawings and specifications. Ensure that any errors / omissions are formally communicated to Project Manager.

Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations and good building practice

Ensure compliance with the company's quality procedures.

Maintaining a tidy, safe and efficient site at all times

Liaising with the client in a professional manner when required.

REQUIREMENTS:

10yrs plus experience with a substantial amount in fit-out/internals.
Experience in Data Centers/pharma would be advantageous.
The ability to interpret technical drawings
Strong management skills
Either trade or professional qualification
