Site Manager/Foreman
Our client is a boutique, progressive and creative Dublin based commercial property development company with a number of exciting projects underway and fixed and firm plan over the next 5 years to continue their development.
They are seeking to engage a Site Manager/ Foreman from a trade background to join their team and work alongside a Project Manager on the refurb of landmark building into a best-in-class serviced office space.
The existing site is in excess of 40,000 sq. feet, divided into interconnecting Georgian buildings and challenge is to develop this space into a serviced office space combining premium workspaces along with amenities not usually available to occupants of Georgian buildings
The company is hands on at all levels so you will be very much working in a small and close team environment.
Duties:
• Responsible for the quality of all work carried out on the site whether undertaken by staff or contractors.
• Ensuring that all tradesmen have the appropriate material and equipment in order to be able to achieve their designated tasks.
• Ensuring that the site environment is satisfactory.
• Allocate work and evaluate teams, individuals and self against objectives, ensuring that no task is beyond the team member's capabilities.
• Ensure that induction is rigorously out and site records completed
• Representing the company at meetings with planners, architects etc.
Requirements:
• A trade background is preferred
• Experience in commercial refurb, conservation, fit-out
• Strong attention to detail, good people skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
