Our client is a civil engineering/utility infrastructure group who design, construct and commission services for clients across a wide range of engineering and infrastructure sectors including mainline railway systems, councils, light rail and utilities.

They are currently seeking a Site Agent /Site Manager reporting back to a contracts manager on two new build pedestrian bridge constructions.

The successful candidate will be well versed in HSE management, quality control, subcontractor management aswell as supervision of direct labour.

Responsibilities:

Site Set up and documentation preparation

Accurate record-keeping of extra works and variations and ensuring appropriate communication of same to company management, commercial team, and client.

Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations and good construction practice

Ensure compliance with the company’s quality procedures and ISO 9001

Developing temporary works solutions in conjunction with temporary works team.

Requirements:

Trade or construction management qualification.

Ability to resource work activities in an efficient manner

Ability to work to deadlines

Strong work ethic

Proven commercial awareness would be desirable
