Our Client is an international building contractor
They are looking to recruit a Carbon Manager responsible for building and managing a team of Carbon Engineers
You will drive a key part of the sustainability strategy towards zero carbon delivery
This team works with other functions in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment delivering life cycle assessments and developing associated carbon reduction strategies. The Carbon Manager assists wider sustainability and operational teams in helping the business achieve carbon reduction targets, implementing net zero and sustainability strategies.
Collaborate with the wider sustainability team to manage and reduce the carbon footprint of the business.
Support work winning activities, advising on carbon related matters.
Support client carbon reduction strategies.
Review and manage a portfolio of client Life Cycle Carbon Assessments through multifunctional collaboration
Extensive carbon management experience having worked in Ireland / UK or further afield
Knowledge of carbon management systems and standards, project development capabilities for complex, large-scale projects.
Knowledge of innovative carbon reduction technologies.
Relevant engineering or related technical degree and past experience in carbon management.
Strong understanding of carbon accounting and governance processes.
Membership of a relevant professional body is desirable but not essential.
Full drivers license.
