One of Ireland's leading Fit-out and Building Contractors is looking for an experienced Safety Officer to join their Dublin based team.

Your role will involve: 

• Providing support & advice to colleagues, subcontractor personnel and other third parties.
• Ensuring all H&S policies are fully implemented on site.
• Ensuring the delivery of health and safety inductions for all new employees, checking all relevant training is in place and recorded on site.
• Conducting regular inspections as directed in the Safety Management system.
• Ensuring all plant and equipment inspections are up to date in compliance with legal obligations.
• Delivering Toolbox talks.
• Consulting with staff on RAMS briefings, lessons learned from audits or investigations.
• Ensuring proper reporting of all accidents, incidents and near misses on site and assisting with the investigation and implementation of corrective action.
• Collecting relevant information for inclusion in the Safety File and preparing for handover to the Client.

What we are looking for: 

• A relevant EHS qualification at diploma / degree level.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in construction safety.
