Client:
Our client is an established construction company delivering construction, infrastructure and fit-out projects in Ireland. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit a Senior Health & Safety officer in the Cork region.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular, formal site audits and carry out inspections as directed in the Safety Management System. Ensure that record of statutory inspections are kept for all activities and plant equipment.
Deliver and complete statutory notifications to the Health & Safety Authority. Deliver Health & Safety induction programmes. Represent client at Site meetings.
Organise and chair the Safety Meetings for client and Sub-Contractors personnel.
Advise and assist Site Management in drafting and communicating Method Statements.
Conduct preliminary accident investigations and statutory notifications.
Requirements
EHS Degree or Diploma
5+ years’ experience, construction experience preferred.
MS Office packages and database experience
Be a team player while collaborates well with others.
