Our client is an Irish Main Contractor with multiple projects in Ireland and recently in Mainland Europe.

They are heavily involved in the construction of Data Centres which they build as a complete package from enabling/civil works through structural build, M&E installation, and commissioning to final client handover.

They are seeking a Regional Health and Safety manager to oversee H&S activities and responsibilities in multiple locations in Ireland and Europe.

You will be involved with the development, implementation and delivery of the Health and safety Strategy across the company, supporting and advising all sites within your region to ensure a safety culture which promotes safe working conditions.

You will lead a team of safety advisors at varying levels on large multi-million-euro projects working closely with the Health and Safety Director of the company.
Although the role will be mainly based in Ireland there will be a need for mid-week European travel to projects within your region.

The role would suit a candidate who can be both “hands-on” but also have a systematic approach to their profession.

Previous experience within construction industry is required.

Experience in other European countries would be preferable but not necessary

A strong Health and safety background at a senior level with a progressive and relevant education development.
