Project Duration: 3-4 years

About the Company:

Join a leading Irish main contractor who specialise in both construction & civil engineering over the past 60 years. This company has an excellent reputation with being responsible for the development of highly regarded projects in the residential, commercial and the educational sectors. Working with this company will allow you to be exposed to high profile developments as well as working alongside some of the most experienced and skilled workers in their field. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervise and support project safety advisors in your area
• Promote safe working practices while implementing the companies HSE policy
• Carry out regular site HSE inspections
• Ensure the project has necessary HSE documentation
• Keep and maintain records for audit standards
• Assist site managers and sub-contractors with risk assessments
• Delivery HSE training
• Support project management in investigations
• Deliver injury prevention
• Keep up to date with HSE policies & procedures
• Liaise with all relevant authorities

What you will need:

• Level 8 in Health & Safety 
• 8 years + experiencein project HSE management
• Chartered member of IOSH
• Thorough knowledge of ISO: 45001 and ISO: 14001 standards
