AA Euro Executive Recruitment has been retained by a leading Mechanical Contractor client, to recruit a Mechanical Engineer with a specific focus aimed towards test-packs to be based on a large-scale pharmaceutical project in Cork.
 
This is a permanent position with our Client.
 
The Role:

• Gather product requirements (e.g. functionalities, speed, safety standards)
• Inspect raw materials and machinery to identify defects and malfunctions
• Monitor all production stages to ensure safety procedures are followed
• Run quality controls on components and final products
• Develop test environments and test cases for all mechanical and electrical systems
• Analyze test results, detect issues and track root causes
• Suggest fixes and improvements
• Document technical issues and solutions
• Build automated testing systems for regular checks
• Ensure our products and procedures meet industry standards (e.g. ISO)

 Requirements:

• 3+  years’ experience working with a recognised Mechanical/Electrical contractor
• Excellent organizational and project planning skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent negotiation, problem solving and decision making skills
• Proficient in use of Navisworks and Database systems related to Engineering functions
• Familiar with Project /Primavera planning software and CAD/BIM process
• Good knowledge piping / mechanical pipework
• Ability to manage workload and prioritise
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
