Operations Maintenance Manager, Data Centre
Resposible for; circa 8 Direct reports and 30-50 staff reporting to Shift Supervisors
Salary €85,000 - €95,000
We are looking for a customer-focused Team leader who can flawlessly execute and be the single point of contact for Severity incidents and customer escalations relating operations. Although this is a day position (9 - 5, Mon - Fri), You will lead and manage all Shifts monitioring, maintenance and operations teams that operate 24/7/365 infrastructure across the Data Centre. You will have full responsibility for all operational performance, facility monitoring and escalation requirements associated with the Data Centre. You will have strong technical, operational management and leadership skills in a similar regulated environment.
Duties will include
Develop, mentor and manage teams
Drive consistency in how activities are operated and delivered
Ensure cover is maintained for 24/7 operations
Conduct Post-Incident and Root Cause Analysis reviews and communicate lessons learned
Be the main point of contact during significant events or multi-discipline technical escalations occurring on shift 24/7.
Develop and manage Emergency operational procedures and Drills
Responsible for the preparation of shift data required for all reports and meetings, these include Monthly Contract, Monthly Billing reviews, MBRs and any other reports as required.
Audit teams efficiency and performance
Develop efficiencies and innovations that benefit overall operation & response
Talent manage your teams to ensure an appropriate training plan and career progression is identified.
Manage and develop a professional relationships to create a positive customer experience.
Deliver a performance level which achieves and beats the KPIs and SLAs
Ensure Data Centre operations, business policies and processes are effectively communicated, implemented and adhered to at all times by your teams
Ensure Quality, Health, Safety and Environment policies and processes are effectively implemented
Ensure appropriate control systems are in place to ensure statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met.
To be considered for this position you will
Proven ability to be Adaptable and lead change personally and organizational in line with dynamics of a growth industry
5+ years experience in a similar regulated operations environment
Proven ability to bring each staff member to one team acting with a consistent approach and in unity
Experience of managing supervisors and managers
Experience of 24/7 Operational Management
Detailed understanding and experience of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a Data Centre environment ie black utilities or similar.
Previous Operations management experience with emphasis on team management, work scheduling, and performance reviews
Strong understanding of CMMS Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and tools.
Experience of managing escalation and emergency issues.
Experience with Project Management principles is important to establish new team however steady state experience in Continuous Improvement towards World Class Operational Performance is key to the success of this rol
