Our client is a well-established and highly regarded Top 10 Irish building contractor. They are seeking an Intermediate Level Quantity Surveyor to be site based in Dublin. The successful Quantity Surveyor will ideally have a minimum of three years’ post qualification experience
Our client has a reputation for developing its staff and offer continuous training programmes, assistance with chartership aswell as good conditions of employment. They are interested primarily with candidate’s who wish to develop a long term career within their company.
The company have a significant project order book covering an extensive spectrum of multimillion euro projects in commercial, healthcare, education, residential, industrial and fit out areas.
Duties:
Allocating work to subcontractors
Raising Quotations for works to be carried
Invoicing for works completed, arranging payments
Site Valuations
Attending Site Meetings and Progress Meetings
Writing cost reports and financial summaries
Maintaining variations
Performing risk and value management and cost control
Managing of the phased completion of the project
Advise design team on impact of design development on costs
Preparation of the final account
