Intermediate Quantity Surveyor - 60-70k - Dublin

Azon Recruitment have been retained by an established interior Fit-Out + Refurbishment company based in Dublin. We are looking to recruit a Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our client;s team. The suitable candidate will be required to work on projects in Fit Out, Residential and Refurbishment.

Our client prides themselves on efficient, organised and well planned delivery of these projects.

Essential Qualifications + Experience.

* Third level qualification in Quantity Surveying / Construction / (or similar).
* More than 4 years relevant experience with a medium Contractor.
* Good knowledge of contracts
* Experience of pricing and preparing Tenders.
* Experience in preparing budgets and cost plans.
* Experience of contracts management.
* Managing and controlling agreed costs and budget.
* Preparing and submitting interim payments applications.
* Preparing variations claims and generating reports.

Desirable Qualifications + Experience.

* Degree in Construction Economics (or similar).
* Fit-out experience.
* Negotiating and agreeing final accounts.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* BOQ preparation and pricing.
* Procurement.
* Liaising with Main Contractors.
* Site meetings and site management.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your role will include;

* Working closely with the Estimating Team, Projects Manager and Finance Department.
* Implementing cost control systems.
* Preparing regular financial reports on current projects.
* Developing action plans for the timely and efficient completion of projects.
* Managing accounts and preparing claims.
* Ensuring projects run efficiently at all times.
* Generating timely reports as required.
