This role would suit a hands-on Individual who does not want to be boxed of with a large main contractor.

Might also suit somebody who decided to move into QS’ing later in their career and is looking to start in that sector.

Our client is a growing civil engineering company involved in both Data Centers and Residential site development projects. They currently require a Quantity Surveyor to join their company reporting directly to the company owner.

You will be responsible for QS duties on 3 /4 projects ranging in value from €500k to €2 million.

The position will be based around sites in the Dublin,Meath and Louth area

Requirements.

Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor preferably an emphasis in the civil sector.
1 to 2 years’ experience

Duties:

Measurement
Prepare and agree interim valuations at the agreed dates
Prepare, and in conjunction with Company director agree final account
Agree final accounts with subcontractors when used
Payment approval for subcontractors
Negotiation/Agreement on variations
Claims and procurement
