Senior Quantity Surveyor - Civils
Our client is a leading Irish Main Contractor with multiple projects in the Civils, Industrial, commercial, Pharma, Leisure and Healthcare sectors.
They currently require a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a Civils background to be based in their office in South Dublin
You will work as part of the site team and report to an experienced Managing QS
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor with preferably an emphasis in the civil sector.
Strong commercial awareness.
Duties:
Maximizing commercial results for the project.
Procurement
Prepare the cost/value reconciliation reports
Prepare and agree on interim valuations at the agreed dates to gain the best commercial advantage for the company.
Prepare, and in conjunction with senior management agree on the final account with the client’s representative.
Agree on final accounts with subcontractors to maximize project margins.
