Our Client is a large-scale developer/contractor with a number of high-density residential projects both under construction and in planning.
They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a high value residential development on the southside of Dublin.
The initial focus on this role will be the delivery of a high spec fit-out /finishing of the residential units.
You will be site based and report to a Managing QS on site.
The role would suit QS from a main contracting background or indeed a QS from a subcontracting background that wants to alter their career path.
The salary and package for the role will be in line with calibre of the candidate.

Duties
Issuing interim payment applications to the Project Quantity Surveyor in conjunction with the Senior Quantity Surveyor;
Working with the Senior Quantity Surveyor in the preparation of final account at the end of the project;
Cost monitoring and reporting using Construction Computer Software;
Procuring, Reviewing and approving selected contractors /suppliers
Ensure Contractual correspondence in accordance with contract terms.
Continuously monitor the project to ensure that it stays on time and in budget
Taking off quantities from drawings for insertion into estimate cost templates
Preparation of enquiry documentation utilising standard pro-forma to establish competitive packages
Analysis of subcontract quotations to enable normalisation and comparison to use most competitive return within our submissions to clients

Requirements:
Approx. 5 years’ experience with third level qualification in quantity Surveying
Knowledge of residential build preferable medium/high density
Knowledge of high quality/fit-out either from a main contractor or subcontractor perspective.
