We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a successful medium sized main contractor based permanently in Meath.

The company is involved in numerous sectors including Healthcare, Hospitality, Heritage, Educational and Housing with projects ranging from €1 to €20 Million

They are seeking a senior Quantity Surveyor who will report directly to the Directors of the company.

The role would suit a QS with experience on building projects who wants to be located outside of Dublin and have more control over projects than with a traditional Tier 1.

Duties:

Maintain and develop commercial processes and procedures and to maximise returns in terms of profit.

Manage and reduce unnecessary costs and inefficient activities.

Maximise cash flow through valuations, submission of invoices and receipt of payment.

Final Accounts management including variations, claims and disputes.

Financial forecasting for use in setting targets and managing the business.

Monitoring resources and costs to ensure that the projects meet agreed targets.

Working alongside the Directors in the preparation and costings of tenders for new work.

Experience and Qualifications:

You will be degree qualified or equivalent
