Our client is a Building & Engineering Contractor who provide construction related services across a diverse range of industries and sectors, from pre-construction, construction-management and design-management stages through to successful delivery.
They are now seeking an Intermediate Engineer to join their team working on a number of high-density residential and commercial projects in Dublin. The successful candidate will be a qualified engineer with a minimum of 3 year’s site engineer experience. In addition, have good working knowledge of Total Stations and other setting out/surveying equipment. This role will be reporting to the Senior Engineer & Project Manager.
Liaise with: Senior Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Supervisors, Health & Safety Officer, Procurement, Sub-Contractors, Maintaining accurate record keeping. Oversee concrete pours including pre & post documentation. Manage rebar deliveries and check-offs. Undertake setting out tasks including monitoring and setting levels. Perform QAQC checks. Assist Quantify Surveyor with quantity take offs when required. Participate in meeting and coordinating onsite subcontractors. Understand and maintain exceptionally high standards of Health & Safety. Maintain continuous professional development to ensure appropriate technical awareness.
A third level qualification in engineering - Construction/ Civil Engineering. Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Site Engineer. Proven understanding of design drawings and maintaining drawing registers. Good time management skills & ability to meet deadlines. To be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and organised. Excellent IT Skills with good working knowledge of AutoCAD (or similar) and MS Office (Project, Excel, and PowerPoint).
