Senior Engineer Bridge Construction Cork/Mid West
Our Client:
Our client is a well- established and leading multidisciplinary Building and Civil Contractor with nationwide projects
THE ROLE:
Senior Site Engineer report to Project Manager responsible for Piling, groundworks and substructure
DUTIES:
Ensure that the works are carried out in compliance with the project specifications & drawings
Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in compliance with the company policies, procedures and rules;
Ensure that the works are carried out to the works programme;
Review and authorise Method Statements proposed by the Sub-Contractors
Assist QS in evaluating each period the quantity of work carried out in that period;
Verify and approve all weekly plant and labour returns.
Supervision of subcontractors.
REQUIREMENTS:
Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering Degree
Previous piling construction experience
Previous concrete substructure construction experience
Previous groundworks experience
Previous temporary works experience
Be proficient in the use of relevant computer applications
Have a working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and regulations;
Hold a valid driving license
