Client:
Our client is an established construction company delivering construction, infrastructure and fit-out projects in Ireland.
They are looking to recruit a Senior Site Engineer for large-scale hi-tech project in West Dublin.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all contractors on site are working to the latest set of construction drawings. Monitor quality of workmanship & material. Maintain as built drawings, liaising with site management to meet project deadlines. Order materials for external works, labour only contractors – ensuring there is sufficient orders place in adequate time to avoid delays on site.
Establishing grid lines, survey existing structures/site set up station points around the site.
Setting out, levelling and surveying the site. Checking sub contactors works i.e., levels, line and
Sign-off hand over certs from sub-contractors.
Assist QS with site quantities and measures for monthly valuations.
Assist with site inductions, induction register, method statement registers and ladder register.
Requirements:
Degree qualified Engineer.
7+ years postgraduate experience.
3+ years’ experience as senior site engineer.
Infrastructure experience is preferred on development / civil projects e.g. earthworks, roads, underground carparking, drainage etc.
Setting out experience is essential.
Work well within a team and collaborate with others.
