KCM Recruitment Ltd have an immediate required from a Tier One Main Contractor for a setting out engineer initially on the enabling works package on a large industrial project. You will need to have some civil setting out experience on elements such as underground services, RC works and road construction.

THE ROLE:
Setting out Engineer reporting to Snr Engineer

DUTIES:
Setting out, levelling and surveying using Robotic Total Station and Levels/GPS
Checking drawings and quantities to ensuring that calculations are accurate for the work
Ensuring designs and specifications are fully adhered too.
Maintain on-site administrative systems to ensure integrated management systems are adhered to
Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
Resolving technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
Liaising with site management to ensure the smooth running and management of the project.
Material quality management.

REQUIREMENTS:
Third level relevant construction qualification
A Degree in a construction/design related qualification.
Minimum 1-2 yrs experience with some civil exposure.
