Setting out Engineer Dundalk

Our client is a Top 3 Irish main contractor with the strongest of reputations both for the construction services they provide and their approach to the continuous development of their staff.
They currently have a requirement for a setting out engineer to join a site team on the development of a large new production facility on a pharmaceutical facility in Dundalk.
You will be joining the project at the very early stages involved initially on the site enabling works.
You will work directly alongside a project manager and senior engineer on the project and coordinate with various other staff.
Setting out, levelling and surveying using Robotic Total Station and Levels/GPS
Checking drawings and quantities to ensuring that calculations are accurate for the work
Ensuring designs and specifications are fully adhered too.
Maintain on-site administrative systems to ensure integrated management systems are adhered to
Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
Resolving technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
Liaising with site management to ensure the smooth running and management of the project.
Material quality management.
1 -2 years experience at a minimum
A desire not to be a journey man engineer and an expectation of developing your career toward project management.
