The Company:

How about something different – Our client is not a tier one contractor but a small niche contractor with a smaller value projects nationwide.

They are seeking either an engineer or site manager to complete from start to finish a small sports facility to be built in Blanchestown in Dublin. Essentially, civil works, steel frame, block walls, cladding, roofing and internal fit out.

You will report to one of the owners and be responsible for all site supervision and basic setting out on the project.

Duties:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting out
• QA / Quality Control
• Supervise the site labour force and monitor sub-contractors
• Involved in the selection and requisition of materials and plant
• Assist project manager with some of their tasks
• Find solutions to any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
• General site duties

Essentially you will be responsible for all on site building aspects of this project from start to finish. The project will run till the end of the year.

The client is open to look at both permanent or a contract position.
Salary will be dependent on the experience of the candidate within reason, but the company are open on this also.

The position would suit an engineer who wants to run an entire project from start to finish or site manager who has some setting out ability.
