KCM Recruitment Ltd have been retained by a leading top 10 main contractor to deliver an entire project team for an extensive commercial build with a build value in the €50 - €100 million range. The positions are immediate
OUR CLIENT:
Our client is a very well established large main contractor with numerous diverse projects nationwide. They specialises in all aspects of build construction including commercial, pharmaceutical, healthcare, education, industrial and fit out projects
THE ROLE:
Setting out Engineer reporting to Snr Engineer
DUTIES:
Setting out, levelling and surveying using Robotic Total Station and Levels/GPS
Checking drawings and quantities to ensuring that calculations are accurate for the work
Ensuring designs and specifications are fully adhered too.
Maintain on-site administrative systems to ensure integrated management systems are adhered to
Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
Resolving technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
Liaising with site management to ensure the smooth running and management of the project.
Material quality management.
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants will ideally have the following qualifications & experience:
A Degree in a construction/design related qualification
Experience of working within the construction industry, specifically on Design and Build, New Build and Refurbishment projects.
Good knowledge of current CDM and Building Regulations
Experience of managing document management systems
Competent user of Microsoft packages e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word
Ability to use AutoCAD essential
ON OFFER
Basic Salary 60K plus depending on experience
