Architect Rail Project

Our Client, a major engineering company specialising in design & build of rail infrastructure, is seeking to recruit an Architect to assist in the design and delivery of a major rail project, within budget and on time. Successful candidates will be based in Dublin and will work as part of a team of technical engineering professionals, providing professional technical expertise, direction, support and management to the project. This is a high-profile, hi-tech infrastructural project, scheduled to commence in August / September 2019.

The Role Involves:
Project planning, project design, project management, monitoring the contractors progress in respect to programme and ensuring milestones are achieved. Managing costs, risks, health & safety and compliance. Maintaining accurate records and generating timely reports. Liaising with the many and diverse stakeholders including; local authorities, land owners, etc.

To be considered for the role you must:
Hold a degree (level 8) in Architecture.
Have more than 8 years relevant experience in an Architectural Practice.
Be registered with the RIAI / RIBA.
Be competent in the role of Assigned Certifier
Have a working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microstation.
A strong working knowledge of Building Regulations, Health and Safety Regulations, Disability, Accessibility and Planning laws.
Experience in carrying out the role of PSDP and or Health and Safety Coordinator.
Full Driving Licence.

Ideally you will:
Have experience in rail infrastructure design and construction.
Good knowledge and understanding of Railway Standards.
Have strong IT skills and report writing skills.

Remuneration is negotiable depending on the experience, suitability and fit of the candidate, however, the ideal candidate can expect c 70,000 per annum.
37 hour working week (5 days mon-fri) 25 days annual leave.
