The Role Involves:
Preparing planning, design and construction designs / drawings using AutoCAD and MicroStation. Reporting to the senior Architect / Architect in charge. Maintaining accurate records and generating timely reports. Liaising with other disciplines the many and diverse stakeholders including; local authorities, land owners, etc.
To be considered for the role you must:
Hold a third level qualification in architecture (or similar).
Have more than 8 years experience in an Architectural Design Office (or similar).
Be proficient in AutoCAD or MicroStation.
Have strong working knowledge of Building Regulations.
Have an appreciation of Health and Safety regulations.
Be competent in preparing rendered designs.
Have strong IT skills and proficiency in Word and Excel.
Be familiar with disability, accessibility and associated planning guidelines.
Ideally you will:
Have experience in rail infrastructure design and construction.
Knowledge and understanding of Railway Standards.
Be familiar with 3D modelling and BIM.
Full driving licence.
Remuneration is negotiable depending on the experience, suitability and fit of the candidate, however, the ideal candidate can expect c 60,000 per annum.
37 hour working week (5 days mon-fri) 25 days annual leave.
