Project Manager Broadband Infrastructure

Our clients, a major provider of Broadband infrastructure, is seeking to recruit a Project Manager for the design and roll-out of a broadband network. The successful Project Manager will be based in Dublin and will be an Engineer (civil, electrical, telecoms) or similarly qualified.
To be considered for the role you must:
Hold a Degree in Engineering (civil / electrical / electronic / telecoms) or similar.
Have more than 5 years post graduate experience in Engineering design / management.
Have more than 1 year relevant experience in Fibre / Broadband design and construction.
Have outstanding communications, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Be competent at liaising with engineering teams, local authorities and other stakeholders.
Be proficient in the English language (spoken, written, technical).
Be familiar with H&S requirements and risk identification.
Ideally you will:
Be a Chartered Engineer.
Have experience in Telecommunications / Broadband construction projects.
Have on-site construction supervision experience & design office experience.
Have experience in infrastructural construction projects (roads, rail, airport, energy, etc.)
Be competent at preparing method statements for installations and HAZOP studies.
Have a proven ability to manage and control agreed budgets and timelines.
Have good knowledge of Construction contracts.
Have strong problem solving skills.
Have a flexible approach to work and an ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
