Our client, an Energy Services Company, is seeking to recruit a Maintenance Technician to join their Production Team. The successful Maintenance Technician will undertake operations and maintenance of the power plant, and its auxiliary systems, on a shift cycle.
The Role Involves;
Fully partake in a team working environment in the operation and maintenance of the entire power station asset base to meet electricity production schedules in accordance with the regulation.
Develop competency in a full range of problem solving, diagnostic and fault-finding skills on plant equipment and systems.
Manage plant operations and maintenance.
Develop the ability and responsibility for promoting the safety, health and wellbeing of the team working in the power plant.
Adapt, develop and update operating and maintenance procedures for all the power station assets.
Define and implement emergency procedures for the power station.
Support and contribute to the achievement of recognised international standards of the operation, maintenance and environment management systems used by the power plant.
Develop innovative approaches to improve the systems and processes as appropriate to ensure the running in an effective manner.
Collaborate, share knowledge and support the team.
Essential Requirements for the Role;  
Hold relevant third level qualification in Engineering, Production or Similar.
Have proven ability to troubleshoot plant faults – covering mechanical, automation, electrical, control and process chemistry.
Have proven ability to start-up/shut down/sustain and re-configure process plant.
Have good working knowledge and understanding of DCS components such as Siemens Teleperm XP, Siemens S5/S7, MHI DIASYS or other industry offerings.
Demonstrable experience of drafting and updating procedures.
Have strong communications, negotiation and influencing skills.
Be confident and comfortable dealing with diverse stakeholders.

Be capable of multi-tasking, co-ordinating and delivering multi-projects.
Salary is negotiable (depending on overall suitability of candidate) but will be in the bracket of €75k per annum inclusive of shift allowance,
attractive Bonus package, Health Insurance – fully paid for all the family and Pension scheme.
