This is a site-based Quality Manager position suitable for someone with experience either in the design or construction.
You will be a key acquisition for a company that are setting new standards in construction excellence and continuing to build on their reputation for delivering landmark projects. Your role will involve:
- Ensuring audits are undertaken in accordance with the audit schedule.
- Investigate and lead investigations into non-conformances and corrective actions.
- Develop all quality and inspection plans, manuals, documents, and systems.
- Reviewing and revising documentation to incorporate changes to company policies and objectives, to stay in line with ISO standards.
- Provide guidance and assistance on Quality matters to all staff on site.
- Work with clients to ensure that their Quality standards & procedures are successfully submitted, approved & implemented.
- Co-ordinate weekly meetings with the client, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Undertake regular walk through Inspections of the site works to identify and report any quality or building compliance concerns.
- Ensure the current quality procedures used are standardised and in line policies.
- Review subcontractors / suppliers' products at source and at their facilities.
- Collaboration with the Design Manager on the product/technical submittal process.
- Assist team training and development plans.
Skills / Experience required for the role:
- Degree in a construction related discipline.
- 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Full understanding of the BCAR process and the regulatory standards.
