Construction Design Manager

O’Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting for a Construction Design Manager on behalf of our client, a leading construction company who specialise in fit out & refurbishments projects. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a design role. Experience working on construction based projects is desired. You will join their team based in Dublin.

Construction Design Manager Responsibilities will include:

• Manage & assist the design team
• Responsible for all design and build projects
• Ability to liaise with architects on a regular basis
• Ensure the design process is kept within the budget and complete within a timely manner
• Overall management of the design process from the planning stage through to the handover of the project to the project team
• Attend planning, construction and design meetings to monitor and record progress
• Support the procurement process for all projects suppliers to ensure timely delivery of project

Construction Design Manager Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or Architecture is desired
• 5+ years’ experience in a Design based role, ideally with management experience
• Experience working on construction projects
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly technical approach, problem solving capacity and solution driven
• Excellent communication oral and written, with strong interpersonal skills
