The Lead CSA Estimator will be responsible for the preparation of detailed CSA estimates from start to finish.  The CSA team are based out of head office but with this role there is scope for the candidate to work a hybrid work model or work remotely with bi-weekly visits to Dublin HQ.

Your role will involve

• Take full responsibility for the project bid, from initial estimation to final presentation to the Group CSA Estimation Manager.
• Review tender documentation, create a project overview outlining required scope and tender components, and assess phased requirements.
• Study drawings, specifications, addenda, and related materials to identify measurable work elements for inclusion in the Bill of Quantities, while also considering phasing needs.
• Utilize Cost X estimation practices for both 2D and 5D applications, collaborating with design team members to gather essential data.
• Source quotations from local vendors or subcontractors, scrutinize quotes for scope discrepancies, and accurately integrate figures into the bid.
• Organize mid-bid meetings with the supply chain, conduct thorough analysis of Sub-Contractor trade package tenders, and work closely with the construction team to capture actual cost rates and lead times.

You will need:

• QS qualification
• At least 7yrs QS/Estimating experience
• Previous Data Centre exp
• Proficient in use of Cost X
• Bluebeam and BIM 360 record tendering
